WorkSafeBC launches asbestos ‘hidden killer’ website

WorkSafeBC has launched the Hidden Killer website. The resource provides information on asbestos; where asbestos is found; the dangers of asbestos; how to handle asbestos; plus Understanding the impact of asbestos: the Paul Douglas story. Douglas, a boilermaker, was given three to six months to live when he was diagnosed with mesothelioma but survived for more than a decade and became an outspoken advocate for workplace safety and the dangers of asbestos in the workplace.
