A two-year follow-up study of risk of depression according to work-unit measures of psychological demands and decision latitude
Objectives: The aim of this study was to examine if high psychological demands and low decision latitude at work increase the risk of depression. Methods : In 2007, 4237 non-depressed Danish public employees within 378 different work units were enrolled in the study. Mean levels of psychological demands and decision latitude were computed for each work unit to obtain exposure measures that were robust to reporting bias. Risk factors for work-related injuries among university student employees
This study identified contributing risk factors in the occurrence of work-related injuries among university students employed at a single university. Four hundred seventy-six student employees completed the survey in March 2010. The majority of respondents were female (66%) and the average age of all respondents was 20.7 yr.
