A quantification of healthy life years lost in Sweden This paper provides the first estimation of the health burden in terms of disability-adjusted life-years (DALY) of noise from the transport sector in Sweden. The effects of noise on key workplace skills
This study explored the effect on memory and psychomotor performance of wideband noise (simulated in-cabin aircraft noise) at 75 dBA, which is similar to that experienced during the cruise phase of a commercial flight. Back disorders are the most common form of ill health at work. The exact cause of back pain is often unclear but back pain is more common in jobs that involve driving, especially over long distances or over rough ground.
